About This Mamajama

I’m Angie. I’m 34 years old and have a 4 year-old son who is the most amazing little guy (I know we all say that about our kids, but in my case, it’s true! :)). We live in the Boston area, which I am a big fan of exactly half the year. I bet you can guess which half.

I’m also the founder of Mamajamas, a universal baby registry that also makes figuring out what you need (and don’t!) super simple.

I created the site to solve a need I had while pregnant. I hope it will help new parents get only the gear they need, and also spend less time thinking about baby stuff, and more time enjoying pregnancy and new parenthood.

If you’ve signed up for our registry, or are planning to, feel free to check out my Mamajamas registry for ideas. Keep in mind, I’m decently crunchy and willing to pay a little extra if I can get the “eco-friendlier” version. But I also like a deal and think that if you can get a lot of gear second hand, or from a friend, you should!

As for the blog, I want it to focus on real issues that new parents have without holding back, and also be a source for learning, new ideas and inspiration. I have a fair amount of amazing guest bloggers too. If you have something you’d like to see posted here or have an idea of a guest blog post, please email me!
